Updated

Prism Browser 0.3.22

Pro automation update: create profiles through the local API and MCP, a global MCP switch and profile access modes, plus press-and-hold, drag and element positions.

  • The local API adds single creation (POST /v1/profiles) and batch creation (POST /v1/profiles/batch); MCP adds prism_create_profile and prism_create_profiles. Up to 50 profiles per batch, saved only when all of them pass validation; nothing launches automatically.
  • Creation can set the name, group, tags, note, proxy, startup pages, hardware template and fingerprint options, installed extensions and a pinned kernel version; invalid input names the exact field.
  • Retrying with the same request key (Idempotency-Key or requestKey) and the same content within 24 hours returns the original profiles, even after Prism restarts.
  • MCP adds a global switch, the “All profiles, including new ones” access mode and individual profile settings (Use global mode / Always allow / Always block); “Allow AI to create profiles” is a separate switch, off by default. Upgrading keeps your existing permissions and never widens access automatically.
  • MCP adds prism_click_and_hold (press and hold), prism_drag (drag) and prism_get_element_rect (element position); the key tools can hold keys down for a set time, and page snapshots include the positions of actionable elements. MCP now has 58 tools.
  • Without a proxy, new profiles take your computer’s system language, Accept-Language and time zone by default.
  • After upgrading, reconnect Prism MCP in your AI client to refresh its tool list. The macOS and Windows installers still bundle the Chromium 144 Community fingerprint kernel.

Prism Browser 0.3.19

· GitHub release notes ↗

13 interface languages, chosen automatically from your system language.

  • 13 interface languages: Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, English, Russian, Vietnamese, Thai, Brazilian Portuguese, French, Ukrainian, Spanish, Turkish, Japanese and Hindi.
  • New language selector in the top-right corner; changes apply immediately and are saved locally.
  • Until you choose a language, Prism starts in your computer’s preferred system display language, or in English if that language is not supported.
  • The interface language is separate from profile settings: switching it never changes profile names, notes, groups, tags or fingerprint languages and time zones.
  • Localized menus, dialogs, forms, status messages and date formats, with consistent terminology.
  • The macOS and Windows installers still bundle the Chromium 144 Community fingerprint kernel.

Prism Browser 0.3.17

· GitHub release notes ↗

Better readability, a theme switch and revised kernel options.

  • New light / dark theme toggle in the top-right corner; your preference is saved locally.
  • The default home page for new profiles is now the Prism Browser website.
  • Larger interface text overall, with adjusted layouts for buttons, tables, tags and dialogs.
  • Windows kernel management offers Chromium 150 and 153 as separate choices.
  • The macOS and Windows installers both bundle the Chromium 144 Community fingerprint kernel.
  • Starting with this release, new product features, fixes and later source code are no longer synced to the public repository.

Prism Browser 0.3.10

· GitHub release notes ↗

Improved extension management, profile list actions and local AI / MCP automation.

  • Install extensions by pasting a Chrome Web Store URL; downloads can use a direct connection, the system proxy or a profile’s proxy.
  • Extensions support “Enable for All Profiles” to load them in every profile; “Edit” opens the extension’s source folder directly.
  • The profile list can be sorted by name, group / tags, status, proxy, fingerprint and seed, and proxy info shows the region.
  • MCP (Pro): stable stdio connection with status checks and automatic recovery; task sessions are isolated between multiple Agents.
  • MCP (Pro): works with iframes and extension pages, supports file uploads, form controls, page waits and new-window detection, and adds a compact page-reading mode.

Prism Browser 0.3.0 Beta 6

· GitHub release notes ↗

Adds the Prism Pro multi-window synchronizer (pre-release).

  • Syncs page clicks, scrolling, keyboard input and tab actions.
  • Address bar and web page input field sync on macOS and Windows; on Windows, real-time address bar sync works without the main window flickering.
  • Fixes syncing of text boxes, password fields and React / Vue controlled inputs on some Windows systems.
  • Better grid layout for 4 or more browser windows.

Prism Browser 0.2.0 Beta 1

· GitHub release notes ↗

First public beta (pre-release).

  • Community creates unlimited local browser profiles for free, each with its own cookies, cache, extensions, proxy and fingerprint settings.
  • Community bundles the Chromium 144 fingerprint kernel; Pro offers Chromium 150, the automation API, scheduled tasks and local AI / MCP.
  • Installer and portable versions for macOS Apple Silicon and Windows x64.
  • The packages are not code-signed by Apple or Microsoft, so you may need to confirm manually the first time you open the app.
