Licensing, devices and expiry
- How do I pay?
- Card (Visa, Mastercard and others) and PayPal checkout is on Payhip for US$49 per year; your activation code is provided with the Payhip order. Alipay and WeChat Pay are available through a Chinese store for CNY 288 per year. Both sell the same license.
- How many devices?
- One device at a time for one year from first activation. Deactivate the current device in the app to move the remaining term to another computer.
- Does Pro need to be online?
- Activation and periodic license renewal need a connection. Short offline periods do not interrupt an activated device.
- What happens when Pro expires?
- Local profiles and data are kept and Community features keep working. Window sync stops; the local API and MCP are emergency-stopped (profiles they started or controlled are closed); scheduled tasks pause; the app switches back to Chromium 144. Profiles pinned to Chromium 150/153 cannot start while Pro is inactive, and Community cannot change a profile’s kernel — reactivate Pro to start them or switch them back. Back up first: data used by a newer Chromium may not downgrade cleanly.
- Is anything uploaded when I upgrade?
- No. Both editions keep profile data on your device.
