Install and create your first profile
macOS on Apple Silicon
Download the DMG, open it and move Prism Browser into Applications. A ZIP archive is also available. The package is built for Apple Silicon (M1–M4); there is no Intel Mac package.
Windows x64
Run the MSI installer, or extract the portable ZIP into a folder you can write to and open the application from there. Note: profiles created by the portable edition are still stored in your Windows user data folder (AppData), not inside the extracted folder.
Allow the unsigned app
Current builds are not notarized by Apple or Authenticode-signed. On macOS, open System Settings → Privacy & Security and choose Open Anyway. On Windows, select More info → Run anyway in the SmartScreen prompt. Verify the checksum below before you do this.
Create a profile
Click New Profile, name it, pick a hardware template, keep a direct connection or enter your own proxy and click Test Connection. Save and click Open.
Verify the installer
Download SHA256SUMS.txt from the release and compare the whole digest with the matching filename. A matching checksum proves the file is the one the maintainer published; it is not a code signature or a security audit.

Do I need an account or a Pro license?
No. Community profile management needs no Prism account and no license. Local profiles are unlimited; how many run at the same time depends on your memory, CPU and pages.
Is a browser kernel included?
Yes. Both installers bundle the Chromium 144 fingerprint kernel, so you do not need to build Chromium. Pro can download newer Chromium 150/153 kernels inside the app.
What if GitHub is unavailable?
Files are hosted on GitHub Releases. Retry later from the official release page and avoid repackaged downloads from unknown sites.
Other platforms and migration
Only macOS Apple Silicon and Windows x64 are published. There is no Linux, Intel Mac or Windows ARM build. Keychain/DPAPI-protected site data may require signing in again after moving between systems.
